Specializing in capturing raw emotive energy and manifesting a conceptual idea, Dan Merlo's style is both explosive yet refined. Adept at many different styles, drama and an intuitive feeling of the inner essence and beauty of his subjects fuels and unifies his work.
He can be funny, too.
A born collaborator, Dan Merlo brings 17 years experience of photographing in controlled and uncontrolled environments, with or without studio lighting. He loves to share ideas and especially enjoys working with other creatives. As needed, he can self-direct and bring his own concepts to the project as well.
Dan Merlo works on call for the New York Times, and has been published internationally through various corporate and artistic clients.
